- Launches to the north and east require minimal maneuvering and are suitable for newer fliers.
- Launches to the west require an immediate 90 degree right hand turn upon takeoff, and are suitable for moderately experienced fliers.
- Launches to the south require either an immediate 180 degree turn to the right, or an immediate 90 degree turn to the left (against the torque of most motors), and are suitable for experienced fliers comfortable with low-level maneuvering.
- Launches to the southwest require an immediate 135 degree turn, and are suitable only for experienced fliers comfortable with low-level maneuvering.
