The paramotor flying field is currently 2.5+ acres, with launches ranging from 300 to 500 feet. Click this link for an airpark diagram. Flights to the north and east climb out over fields with no obstructions, making for enjoyable takeoffs in glassy air.
Riverside Airpark is not the first paramotor flying field in SE Michigan, and its creation has been greatly inspired by the existence of Ragwing Field and the unceasing generosity and general PPG ambassadorship of it's owner, Mark Deseck. Ragwing and Riverside are a short flight apart (4 miles as the PPG flies). Cross country flights between the two happen with some regularity.
